Shot suspension/bad steering

Not sure if im combining two issues into one or they involve the same problem, butt i figure this is the place to go. The suspension in my ranger is terrible. Hitting bumps seems to drop the truck way lower than it should. Hitting even small pot holes is a big deal and sends my truck in a different direction and I have to restraighten the wheal constantly. looking at the suspension everything looks really beat up and worn down. What parts should i be looking into to fix this issue? Im sure im missing details so please ask for more info
btw Its a 92 ranger 3.0 2wd and i recently replaced the ball joints"uppers and lowers both sides"

Bro, if you are not sure you need to take the truck and have it looked at by a pro....you are heading in the direction of a bad accident. Shocks, for instance could be bad....ball joints...steering issues...your truck have coil springs? Lots of suspension parts can give the problem you are having...but if you don't know....you need to have somebody look at it for you!!!!

thats kinda what i figured. & my mechanic is trustworthy. yes it does have front springs.thanks for the input

yeah as soon as i sell my spare car im going to get it done. I feel safe in it right now. butt when the winter hits again im definitely screwed unless i get it taken care of

Sounds like your steering gear box is loose and/or wore out.
