short shifter??

I have a 1997 2wd 2.3L ranger that I race and im looking for a short shifter, the only one ive found is a hurst off of summit etc but they are $200 and i do not want to spend the money on that considering the kind of racing i do. If anyone has any ideas on how/where i can find one that would be great thanks!!

Hurst is the only short shifter for Rangers. just keep an eye out on here, Craigslist, or E-bay they pop up cheap every now & then.

I will say that having a hurst Shifter... it is worth every penny.

Could do a copy of the wild horses gear banger.....

I've been tempted to throw it in the ranger for a day or two to see how good it works.
