Yes Still working on it..I'll upload picks of the shifter when I get a chance.
I need to find someone to freshen up my TK 5 speed.

Well I added a couple feet of arm to the shifter. and the green skull shifter handle. For some reason this makes my truck cool to my kids!
Took a trip to the tire store for my brother had to pick up some parts for his cherry 86 ranger, After all my truck is a Shop truck!

The weather is starting to turn warm so I can unload the weight from the bed and start back on Paint and Body work.

The weather is warming up so I might have a few days to do some paining on the truck. I bought a steering wheel adapter and put in a after market wheel but its a little too small (12 inches).

During a rain storm I designed my door logos.

So fare the plan is to keep it lifted rather than dropping it. adding a little rake to the truck.
I have white paint for the roof and Blitz black for the body.
I bought a can of One shot Red and White to stripe the truck with.
The ladder rack and light bar will be gloss black.
I'll post some more pic's soon.

Well the Old tires are 75% tread but they are coming apart, So I have a appointment with the Tire Stop tomorrow.
Bought 2 inch blocks from a fellow TRS member as soon as they come in I'll lift the truck another 2 inches front and back.
I ended up putting the steering wheel from me first HotRod in the truck and I'm kewl with the long shifter ( I did punch the rear view mirror once shifting into 3rd )
If there's any local that can help I need guidance on rebuilding a 5 speed and removing the windshield trim.

Thats one hell of a shifter then, got pics?????

I was going to take some Pic's tomorrow at the tire store. And my Shrunken Head off the Mirror.
I got some protector style headlights which are kinda neat but they have a little blue low wattage bulb in them. What the heck is that about?

Here's "Lumpy" just out side the UPS hub waiting to be loaded with product...
Just a 3 inch body lift...I think all trucks should have a body lift, sure makes working on it allot easier!
Here the new grill and Projection head lights!

I'm still not sure what those little bulbs are for!?!!

On the inside we have the Long Frankin Shifter with skull handle.... Off the rear view mirror is My Shunkin head and my Wood Bag Beads (African Zulu warrior beads)...
And of course the Steering wheel from my first hot rod,,it's a little rusty but that makes it kinda kewl too.
* I trimmed the shifter 4 inches and bent it back to keep from colliding with the mirror.

This last weekend I took my son's CubScout Pack on a hike and Drove lumpy to the mountains. Loaded with gear and the wee one.

This is the last shot of the stock body with the 3 inch body lift.
I added the 2 inch blocks to the back today.
Still needing help with pulling the windshield trim off to prep for paint.

Heres a profile of the the rear lift.

I started pulling the front apart to strip and paint.

I don"t think I'm going to put much work in the body to fix the dents but there are a few that bother me.
I hope to get a hand pulling the windshield trim off this weekend (ANYONE?).
I took the Tail gate apart too. its bent to hell and the damage is nutty. Probley replace the whole bed.

There may be a tool to get the trim off.. in all my years i do it by lifting up on the windshield side the taking a small screwdriver to knock the clips loose.. it is time consuming so be patient.. don't use a screw driver to pry the molding or you will bend and or crack the windshield... it would be easier to tape them off...

Looks rugged, rednecked, but formal with a good-beater style to it in other words, its Tough looking, but not Beefed to heck), I like it =)

What full size rims fit on your truck?

Frank, if you lived in East Tennessee, I would help with the trim, and sanding and taping.

I like the red steel wheels with the small center caps, it gives that little truck a Rat-Rod look. Thats SWEEEEET!!!!!!!:icon_cheers:
