Whats a good set of shocks, brand and type (PRICE IF KNOWN), to go with on my 2000 Ford Ranger kingcab stepside...currently the tbars are cranked and im ridin on 12.50x33s...a body lift MAY be in my near future but not really sure if i really want the body lift...

I have always been a fan of Bilstein. I just installed a new set of the heavy duty versions. My Ranger came from the factory with Bilstein shocks but were valved to Ford specs. They were good for the street but I thought they were a little soft for off-road. So far the new ones valved to Bilstein specs do feel firmer. I have not had them off-road yet to see if they do better off-road but I suspect they will do very well.

Oh, I paid a total of $247 for a set of four; including shipping.
