Im going to be leveling ("1.5-2" coil) my 92 2wd ranger and was wondering what size shock to buy when I do the leveling. Obviously since the back isn't getting lifted I am getting the appropriate replacement shocks at stock size from an auto store. My question is on the front will using shocks that replace the stock shocks be enough or should I get shocks for stock 4x4 versions of my year ranger? Thanks for any info.

Stock height should be fine. In a 2wd truck its not likely you'll be getting full-stuff or full-extension on the shock anyways.

Surrey , has it on target ..
most shock companys list there shocks as " stock to 2" lift " work fine..
if your concerned, check with doesh-tech shocks ( el cajon, ca ) or 4 wheel parts ..
sure you can find some answers ..
mahalo all
