shocks opinion

Today I was driving down the country road and I noticed that my drive was pretty rough. I know its just the road, but this time I was bouncing all over the road. Im thinking my shocks are shot. I am in need of some opinions of what are some good shocks. There are some brands that are on my mind, but I don't know which I would best choose. I just want something that gives me a really smooth ride and a really tough brand that could handle the tough terrain. Thanks!

I heard Rancho suspension is good. What do you guys think of them? The ones im looking at are the Rancho RS5000 RS5126 series.
