I have a 1990 bronco II that has been lowered 3" in rear. How do I find the correct shocks for the rear? I would like to run airshocks also.
Thanks for any help. Great site glad I found it.

If you can't find any, shocks for a lowered Ranger would work. Or go to your parts store and they should be able to help you out.

You need to measure mounting point to mounting point at ride height, with the axle all the way down and with it all the way compressed.

Thanks for the reply. I measured with it sitting normal and it is 16 1/2". So i figured i would need a shock where extented and collapsed 16 1/2' was in the middle. I looked at a chart and didn't see any shocks where 16 1/2" was near the middle. Am I looking at this in the wrong way?

If you measure the extended and collapsed, call a place like Summit or Jegs and give them your measurements and you mounting points; in your case it will be a eye x eye mounting points. They will then find the shock that is right for your application.
