[/IMG]so im not really liking the ride with the exploder springs, & leveling springs on the street. which is were this is driven 95% of the time.
Im wondering. Does anyone make shocks for the 2" lift? or am i stuck with my Ranch 5000s that say they are good up to a 2" lift ?
any other ideas?
besides

looks good to me. just curious, what size tires are you running? thx

I'm not sure on your answer but you've got a very clean looking truck!

yeah, they're 2" lift shocks at a few places out there on the interwebs

this is the cheapest i've found:
http://broncograveyard.com/bronco/c-1045-bronco-ll-shocks-jbg.html

there's also TRS fab & off-road:

if the ranchos are good up to 2" of lift and you dont off-road too much, i think you'll be fine. but there's always the possibility of flexing your suspension out real quick and tearing them up, so it may be worth it in the long run

nice lookin b2 btw, i was originally gonna go the 2" lift route, but i got a good deal on a 4" inch lift

those are just 235s. id like to go to a 31, but im only running 3:73s and a4ld. besides i dont think i can get them in anyway.

For my 84 I already had Ranchos on the front when I did my lift so they fit but the back shocks were too short.I looked at a shock chart and figured out that a lot of mid 80's F150 trucks used a shock with the same mounts as a Bronco II but they were a couple of inches longer. The top fit just fine but the bottom has a bigger opening in the bushing so I just drilled out my stock lower shock mount a hair and they fit fine using a larger bolt.

i think i may order the skyjacker N8058. they say they are for 0-3.5 rear lift for the rear. that may be where i am getting all the bouncing around.
about 4 years ago i put monroe sensatracs (?) in there but they were for the stock height.
i know when i put the sploder leafs in i got a good 2".
i think :icon_confused: this may take care of some issues. maybe?

235 tires look good. I have same veh as you, so put 235 goodyears on . killed my towing ability! I have 16' rv that weighs 25-2700 loaded. was a real strain over40 mph. went back to 215x70x15. B2 now looks like 'go-kart' but pulls better.

its just skyjacker leveling coils and sploder springs. been thinking of sticking the beltech 6400s on for a little more in the rear. :shok:
But need to upgrade front and rear.
So many wants, so little cash.

you can also buy 2 inch axle drop brackets from skyjacker (i think) as well

what i did was get ahold of a monroe paper catalouge with a spec chart in front then get the part # for stock shocks so I would have a reference for top and bottom conections and collapsed ht,ext. height, and travel.then add the amount of lift or needed travel (there were 2 or 3 in my case ) then pick the 1 that you think will work best. right now o'reileys and napa are in a shock war napa said 35 plus ship oreilleys countered with 36 NO shipping(each) once you get the monroe part # it can be crossed to gabriel or kyb too

i'll try and find them again. i used to have it bookmarked on my comp, but i deleted it when i got my 4" brackets
