shocks are stiff

i have just recently got my '88 ranger back on the road an i was driving it yesterday an i could feel everything on the road an when id go over a speed bump it was rough it acted like i had no shocks at all i despretly need help with this its now my daily drive an i do not wana breack something on it

Sounds like you might need new shocks or possibly all kinds of other things under the truck.

What exactly are you experiencing? How fast are you going?

My truck has a very rough ride and always has...Even before the new shocks. If you press on the bed of the truck or a front fender and let go the truck should return to shape (so to speak) and not bounce at all. If you press down and it rocks all over, then those shocks are dead.

My were originals from 87 (well...86) and had 140k on them. They were toast.

mine boucne i could either go fast or slow it dont matter it bounces me all over the place in the cab i believe just like yours their toast

bouncing and being stiff are 2 totally different things..

what shocks are on your truck now? is it stock suspension?

haha thats where i got my blinker fluid! my truck wasent running right so i topped her blinker fluid off and she has run great ever since. LMFAO

yeah.. napa blues are pretty good. not bilsteins but... shocks only need to dampen stuff anyways.

don't get autozones LLT warranty ones tho.

its a riquirement to replace it every 10 years!!!! haha
