I have installed a 2 inch suspension lift and i was told i do not need new shocks. Mine are shot so i am going to replace all 4. Anyone can point me in a direction that would be greatly appreciated.

do i need to get aftermarket lift shocks or can i run stock shocks with the 2 inch lift. I do very little off roading and it is my daily driver and i dont have much $$$ to mess with being a high school student and still having to fill the dang thing up and i have to deal with a low income job

I would get stock height rancho shocks. You can usually pick them up for about 45 bucks a pop. I chose to get the James Duff shocks, i think they ended up being 38 bucks a piece.

If you did a 2" lift, and are still running stock height shocks, your shocks are probably limiting your down travel. You dont NEED longer shocks, but considering the difference in cost for a shock thats only 1" longer will be negligible, and the fact that unless your just out for a poser look, you've wasted your money lifting without 'em, I'd get something a bit longer than stock.
