I am planning my Chevy leaf install.I am pretty sure I am running kartek hangers,
new bushings and new hardware. I am looking for mid travel and want to keep the shocks under the bed. I think the stock shock mounting will not allow for increased travel. I have seen some other shock mounting setups. Have any of you re-mounted for more travel under the bed??

You can run a fair bit of travel with the stock mounts especially if your willing to to sacrifice a little bump travel.

That said I'm in the process of building a new cross member and shock towers to mount more shock with out cutting the bed. Should be able to get a 12" or a 14" shock with out too much work.

I'm running deaver g50s moved back in the frame with 3.5" of drop
