Shock help

I need new front shocks and I was thinking of going with dual shocks. I have stock suspension and 1.5 leveling coils so are dual shocks still a good idea? Do I just need to buy a dual shock hoop?

Now for the actual shocks, what should I get? I was thinking some bilstein 5150 but Im not sure what kind of valving or length to get. What are some other good shocks that arent just the typical white shock with a different label?

I have some monroe gas shocks from my Dad's F150 that are like new also but I just have two. If I go with dual mounts can I mix and match the shocks on each side? Like put a monroe on each side and then buy a bilstein for each side?
 
Yea I wasnt totally sure on it but I've heard dual shocks help by not over heating and better dampening which leads to less wear. I dunno just seemed like a good idea, I don't think it would hurt putting them on.

Anyways what about if I run a single bilstein 5150? What valving and travel should I get? I saw medium and light, I was thinking maybe two light valved shocks on each side if I ran duals but Im really not sure about single.

ranger shocks wont get hot enough with the kind of truck u have, the only time i see dual shocks is on a heavy pig, id just run some standard white tube shocks for the time being until u decide togo bigger
 
Do you think the monroe shocks I mentioned would work? What about the James Duff 70/30 shocks, are they any good?
