I have a 1998 ford ranger 4x4 manual. I seem to have trouble shifting from 1 to second the most. Also from 3rd to 4th. I can downshift anygear just fine. And also, sometimes it gets stuck in first and i kinda have to force it out. Anyone who has had this problem and knows what might fix it please let me know. Thanks

When was the last time you had your tranny serviced? You know, drained, flushed, and refilled? You might want to start with the easiest, and then progress from there.

your slave cylinder may be leaking and not disengaging the clutch completely. the same thing happens to me when the slave cylinder is on its way out.
