I would like to remove my shifter stick so I can make an extender since I added a body lift, but I can't figure out how it comes off. It has a threaded rod that goes thru it, then a nut on one side. I can take off the nut, but the rod stays in place and I don't know how to remove it. Any suggestions?

OK, I found an artical...I got it figured out, thanks

Put the nut on the other end of the threaded rod and tighten it. The rod will pull through, then you can remove the shifter.

To install, reverse the procedure........
