Shifter lever bolt stuck on 91 X

I am trying to replace my shifter lever on my 5 speed 1991 Explorer, the bolt is stuck right in the middle. No amount of umph has been able to get it all the way off. Any ideas?

tap it out with a hammer. it only goes in one way, so make sure your tapping in the right direction. it'll come out.

NO!!!

You take the nut off one end and screw it onto the other.

Then "tighten" the nut the nut acts like a puller.

Does anyone know of a source for replacement ends on the harness (plug connectors)? I have a few in the engine bay on my 88 Bronco II that have the little ears broken off and would like to replace them.
