Shifter is Stuck!!!

So I was running low on brake fluid and topped it off, the pedal is still nice and firm but for some reason i am having trouble shiffting out of park its acting like I'm not pressing the brake pedal and I have to forcefully move the shifter. All in all I'm lost:icon_confused:
 
Check if your brake lights are working. the interlock is powered by the same circuit.
