i just got my truck out on the road but the shifter bushing is wearing down. we replaced it with an eraser to get it a little drivable. but as you can imagine its already waring down. so my question is does anyone have any ideas on what i can use for a bushing that will last. i can't find anyone that sells just the bushing. i have the round push on kind. i need to know kinda of quick because i've got to go job hunting and it's a pain to find 4th and 5th a lot of the time.

if this helps its a

thanks for any help

are you fering to the plastic ball on the internal "tip" of the shift lever?

That is NOT designed as a "push-on"

The "push on" thing you found in there is someone's fix.

I believe I have a Shiter assembly that'll fit your trans
but I need to look for it in the morning.

I'm feelin' kinda whipped.
