hey whats up im chris,, this is a good place for helping .. and i thought id share my problem .. anyway , my truck is stuck in 4th . running and not running . the shift peg will not line up , i have taken the shifter from the tanny removed the three star bit screws.. and i have seen that my shifter will only move no further than a half inch , and will not line back up parralelle with the rest .. yess ive tried to pull back in place i have also almsot broke the shifter of pushing hard.. well i turned to here so i wouldnt break nothing ,,. i need my truck back can u help me out and tell me how to fix this . here is a picture of what im dealing with , can someone tell em how to fix my problem please. thank you the first pic shows how far it will go back , and the other shows about how far forward it will go . but wont go parralelle
