Shift Linkage

Replacing a Mitsubishi transmission with a 4L M50D transmission soon and was wondering if anyone knew if the transfer case linkage will swap over. I am swapping the Mitsubishi diesel engine and transmission out for a 1.9 Tdi and M50D.

Some M5OD transmissions after a certain year don't have the threaded bosses for the shift linkage to attach to (possibly after 2003, though maybe some '98-'01 too, I'm not sure). You should be safe using any '90-'97 trans.

You'll probably also need the t-case shifter for a FM146/M5OD trans if you're replacing a FM145, the length of the M5OD is different from a FM145.

I am putting a C5 into my truck as part of a V8 swap, it is all installed with the t-case mounted... the A4LD 4wd linkage isn't even close to lining up. Anyone have a pic of how the C5 linkage looks so I can try to adapt my A4LD junk to do the same thing?
