For the newbies, this is a Sherrod Bronco GT Convert. It is a dealer installed factory option.
The top folds down just like a jeep top. The roof is chopped just behind the door pillars. There is a moonroof above the driver and passengers heads. All the gaps were filled in by Sherrod with bondo and fiberglass.
The engine offered is the is the stock 2.9L, there were no other special features other than the soft top of course you could get what ever trim package from the dealer that you wanted, i.e. eddie bauer, XL, XLT etc.

Big Red,
I still say you are an idiot for tearing up a rare vehicle like that.
;roll;
Hell, I would have gave you mine, and paid you some to have that one. ;eek;

Its like i said before....its not really worth crap cause of someone being careless at the sherrod factory in texas. It would have been a collectors item but the factory that stored all the records for the bronco II files burned down. Theres no way to document mine actually rolled off of a sherrod assy line. ive tried gettin info from them, but they cant help me any, noone there even remembers doing bronco II conversions. Since its so easy to make a replica ( look at nemisus' rig) and no way to prove its authentic...no value. its too hard to even figure out what options were even on the conversions, ive some with vynal tops, canvas tops. side steps, running boards, ground effects....maybe they were all options...who knows, point is...cant get it back to original condition...dont know what that was! trust me....if it were worth anything i wouldnt do this to it. but as is stands....if i destroy this one....i can just build another one. the craftsmenship on it sucks anyway. When im able to get it on the road and make to some events, i;ll let you guys look at what im talking about.

hey BigRedB2
So you're saying there is absolutely no way to prove if a BII is an original Sherrod BII or not?
If there is someway to tell please let me know.

if its any help, ground effects were optional from Ford. my old 89 2WD had them and i've seen many others with the same ground effects 2WD and 4WD
Wouldn't Ford have a record of what vehicles Sherrod was given or purchased?
