i have a 92 ranger 4wd,my problem is on idling thers an annoying shake my rpm on idle is just below 1000,i replaced all plugs wires cap rotor....it was doing this before i changed them and problem still ther....next step is to check the timing but thought i'd see if thers anything else to look for......tks

whats the mileage on the truck, also, what are the condition of the motor mounts, if the engine itself isnt stumbling when it shakes its prolly the motor mounts bein shot, my old 87 did the same thing

that rigs got 190,000km havent checked the mounts will do tho....but i do think its the engine as it does have a little miss in the idle state but doesn't lack any power while driving tho.....when its idling my hand shakes real bad when i'm holding the shifter very annoying....
