shackle question

does anybody have a factory shackle layin around that they can measure the opening for the bushing. i'm tryin to make my own and don't have one to go by.

im tryin to get my lift shackles on now but i cant get the bolts out, when i do ill measure em for you.

thanks guys, as far as gettin the old ones off i have always had to either torch the heads off or grind them cuz they always rust tight in there.

Should be 3" for a 2 1/2" spring.

i'm looking for the inner diameter of the hole were the bushing goes in the shackle. basicly i want to see if these will work

Did you make those bushing sleeves? I was going to build my own until I realized that I would be near what it would cost to just buy some. Much more if you consider my time.

i messed up my shackles gettin them off so my measurements would be a little "Tweaked" if you will.

those are prettier. the ones in the above pick are from diy4x.com i think they are like 3.50 each. i'm layed off right know so time is something i have lots of. i've been spending half my days out at our training building fabbin up brackets and stuff so i figured i'd kill time and build some heavy duty ones.

The bushings in the shackles from my 07 are 3" wide and the opening for them is 1" round
