Are there any other benefits to doing the shackle flip, along with 64"s and belltechs, other than increased wheel travel? Ride quality? Will it affect the amount of weight I can haul in the box? I just picked up my 64"s yesterday and I have the belltech 6400s already, but the shackle flip is very interesting and tempting to me. Have 5" rear lift now with stacked blocks and would like to stay near to that, so my choices were..

1. Run factory 2" block, 64" springs w/o overload, belltech shackles, no shackle flip

2. run RC 3" block, 64" springs w/o overload but w/ ranger main leaf tied in, belltech shackles, shackle flip

This is just a weekend/camping rig for me, it will be on the highway and on the trail. The shackle flip might be a little too much for the truck, but I'd really like to show my buddies with their 12K dollar jeeps up :D thoughts?

Im running the 63's with no shackle flip and a belltech equivelent and a 3" block. Its pretty soft and flexes pretty good. The shackle flip gives you more travel but it would lower your truck quite a bit and you probably would have to cut the box to run the belltechs and a shackle flip and i doubt youd have much lift.
