shackle flip questions

i want to do the shackle flip but i was wondering will the shackles hit the bottom of the bed or anything?

as long as you use a stock sized shackle you should be ok. if you want a bunch more flex, then you need to build a "drop bracket" for the rear shackle. it has been done before and i think someone even sells them for your ranger, but i haven't been able to find the forum anymore.

the drop bracket just drops the hanger down off the frame a few inches so you can use a bigger shackle, not loose any lift you might have, and you will gain a bunch of lift!

The GMR makes some for a Silverado that supposedly fit a Ranger.
