If I flip my rear shackles will I need longer shocks? Also will I have any problems with the factory bump stops? It looks like they would hit the frame if I lost height from the flip. :icon_confused:

If you flip the shackle without any other mods it's going to lower the truck.

A shackle flip, Explorer 4 door leaf springs and a ranger 2.5" block gave me about 3" lift on my BroncoII.

Yes I want the truck lower, But will the stock shocks bottom out because they are farther up in there travel, when the trucks weight is on the suspension? Can I cut the bump stops off for clearance? :icon_confused:

Yes they will bottom out and cutting your bumpstops down is just going to make the hit that much harder and result in broken parts or bent frame.

Since I gather this is going to be on a 4x4 I would just remove the block out back if you want the "Bro" look.

SHorter shocks from a 2wd will work just right. if you remove the block.

a canuck saying "the bro look" eh?.:thefinger:...........thats classic:icon_hornsup:

Not to High-jack the thread, But I can't find my Answer So I will ask you guys. If I do a shackel flip with chev. 64" Do I need to cut holes in the bed for the shackles.

Yes, if you use stock location. You have to do it with deaver packs so a pack twice the size will definantely need cut outs.
