Upcoming changes...

First is the hood, it will soon find its final resting spot on the wall. I am going to address my cooling issues with a American Rock Rods heat extractor setup, which means cutting holes in the hood. Don't want to do that to the hood on there now.

Also entertaining the idea of a different color. Keeping the mural on the back, but making it a little flashier. I am thinking of matching the Ranger. Single stage urethane is cheap, and the tan continues to come off more and more.

Just bought this from fleebay as a new tow rig:

I think you mean "on the back". Lol

Thanks guys. I have wanted a C30 dually since I got my 68. I have wanted to change the front clip on my 68, but I already had a lot tied up in the one on it. I also have been wanting a tow rig and trailer. I just got everything in one package. All running, and all under 3 grand. Going to pick it up Friday.

Cummins 12v and 5 speed in the future for it...

Josh, lwt me know when you have the funds, I got a contact I can dig up that should have one :icon_thumby:

That thing is slick! And yeah, I'm betting you'll want a repower sooner than later!

Yea, carbed 350 backed by a 4 speed... Although D's repower will be first. Tired of that thing sitting around lifeless.

You got it buddy! I'll let you know about the 4BT/4BD as well.

You might want to think about installing a 4bt in the new towrig for better mpg's. You can juice it up just a little bit (not that it will need it) to give you more power, but think about how much weight the brown turd and FedEx haul around. Not to mention you won't be hauling a trailer. I suggest trying a 4bt first, and if it proves to be not enough, upgrade to the 6bf and drop the 4bt in either D or another project that you will soon have...

Nah, I like the sound of a 6, and they both cost about the same. I'd put a six in my ranger if it would've fit without hacking everything apart, moving things to the bed, recessing the firewall, blah blah blah

Oh I almost forgot, I will be pulling a trailer. I'll attach a bumper pull camper to it

Just as long as you don't stack it. 5" exhaust is fine, even 6", just as long as it stays underneath :icon_thumby:
