so im putting together a system for my 89 240sx. and im interested in setting up a proper soundstage and choosing the right components.

so far my plan is to pick up a set of jbl p660c comps for the front. get a set of fills for the rear. and a kicker 12' crv122 sub. heres the plan

install the jblss up front with a RE AUDIO 4 channel amp bridged feeding 150 rms to each speaker.

install the fills in the rear run off the rear channels of my headunit.

install the kicker sub with a RE AUDIO mono channel amp feeding 500 rms bridged.

how will the wattage and the setup sound?

I've heard good things about alpine type s speakers, heard they were a bit more bassey than the memphis I bought, never heard polk speakers in person but heard they are good too. Wahat is the rms of the kicker sub? Sorry for all the typos I'm ob my fone.

i decided not to run the kicker sub because i want a more accurate sub. i dont want just bass. so i picked out a 12'' alpine type R because ive heard alot of great reviews on it.

so heres the setup im looking to run. remember. im interested in amping the components and running the rears off the headunit.

I've heard a type r in a ported box, the kid needed an amp so I sold him a rckford 1000 mono amp and it bumped real good, keep n mind it was getton 1000 watts rms, mayb a little more and he blew the sub, warranty covered it 3 times he blew it then decided I sold him a bad amp sad it was sending out tge wrong freq or something, anyway type rs are bour the best bang for your buck oughta sound good!!

yeah ill eventually run 2 of those subs and get a bigger amp but to get me started i think the one will be fine. its only a 240sx and those are pretty small.
