I did not believe but know I do. After market sensors -RVB = BadSh*t , I bought a coolant temp sensor for the ECU that was doa (Neihoff) . A few months later I had to change the cracked OE cooling fan (cracked) , took it off and saw the fan clutch was leaking (new that) the water pump squeaked a little when you turned with no belt on so ...you guessed new pump. Get it back together , airlocked, fixed that ran it. Temps a little higher then before..hhmmn worse when 4X4 ing. Tear hair out.. what did I change that was no good? Put old fan clutch back on, little better.Mechanic said change to a premium thermostat , did that got way worse ARRGH . Read the forums front to back..and noticed people said their gauges ran round the "R" in normal. When I did the 1st doa sensor I also changed the temp gauge sender still had the old one after 5 months (packrat? me ? noooo) put it in and low and behold my temp is actually normal not high. Crappy aftermarket junk had me thinking cracked heads, headgasket etc!
