Whats the sensor on the side of the oil pan? oil level? and my oil pressure gauge flutters back and forth somewhat from time to time. Should I replace?

thats the oil level sensor...unrelated to oil pressure.

the oil pressure sensor is on the drivers front side of the engine block. i would verify oil pressure with a mechanical guage before condeming any parts of the system.
