ok I'm stumped on AC!! I own a 89 with a 2.9 motor. It ran on r12 but I put r134a in. Compressor runs and cycles. My dad has his AC licence so he put a vacuum on it then filled it up and it was running like 30 suction pressure and in the area of 200 discharge pressure. The lines don't get hot or cold nor does the air coming out of the vents. My dad told me its probably an orifice tube somewhere. I was thinking that maybe heat from the heater core is mixing in with the cooled air? I was going to pinch off on of my heater lines and see what happens. But yes the compressor runs and makes pressure, It dont run long before it kicks back off unless its idling then it runs the whole time
