I was wondering if there is a sediment catch in between the in-tank pump and the external pump if so I think mine needs cleaned out I just put the fuel tank back in (again):bawling: and primed the in-tank pump and tried starting it. Well after a couple unsuccessful tries I decided to check the external fuel pump pulled the line off and I heard a "whoosh" of air:icon_confused:. So I checked the internal and it sprayed everywhere the only thing in-between is this bowl thing and I don't know how to clean it out and it isn't in the Haynes manual.

Thanks for looking and helping!

the part number is E7TA-9K044-AA Any idea what it is? we checked it and the fuel pump line had really high resistance and the return just quickly goes through (not re filtered) so it's clogged pretty good and it looks like it comes apart but it doesn't want to give.:annoyed:
Any ideas on what to do?:icon_confused:
thanks for the replies!

:icon_surprised:Wow does Nobody know what I'm talking about or is my truck the oddball one?
