going to get new bucket seats for my 1989 ranger from the u pull it. i have the 60/40 seats. was wondering which bucket seats from what cars/trucks will slide right in. I was thinking explorer...or newer rangers..

Since you have the bench seat you need to find a ranger with bucktes in it and get the seat rails off those. Then you can bolt those to the bottom of many ford seats (look in the tech library at the article) or you can fab them to the bottom of any seats you want.
