ok i have searched and read the tech article and grip the concept of the seat swap. what i am wanting to see is which seat i can put in there that will NOT come up over the bottom of the back glass, seeing as i will have a lexan window with tag in it. looks like most of those seats will be too tall unless you pull the headrest out. since my ranger isn't at my house yet can anyone tell me the height from the floor to the bottom of the glass and maybe i can fin some seats by that. i hate to buy more than 1 set :D. here is a pic of what i want these came out of some sort of hyundai......

yeah i'm not afraid of welding the brackets, but if i can find some that the brackets unbolt would be alot easier....i have a set of 90 civic seats out of my parts car for my civic, thinking about those without the headrests, but need to measure and look at the tracks....i have these exact seats....http://www.therangerstation.com/forums/showthread.php?p=508552

I've got mustang buckets in mine with the headrest removed and they dont come up to the window. Least not with a speakerbox in it.

i have civic seats to go in my 87 and have read the how to. what i'm not getting is where my seats sit the pass. side of the side bracket sits on the tunnel. is this right? and if i mounted the stock rails to the seat it is about 3 inches away from the stock hole. should i just drill new holes for the LH track and then work the other 1 to the tunnel?

Someone mentioned in my seat thread about finding two of the "40" of 60/40 seats. The hard part is finding two the same color and in roughly the same shape.

Eddie Bauer BII's had neat (IMO) lowback buckets.

Both will bolt on bucket seat tracks that match your cab config.

That looks like a pair of regular seats out of an ascent with the headrests taken off. lol.
