While removing my driver's side seat today, I noticed one of the front bolts is actually broken off (the other 3 look brand new...hmm!). It seems flush with the floor pan. The seat is pretty sturdy with just 3, but still.
Am I going to have to drill it and retap/replace it, or can I just replace the j-nut and leave the bolt in there? :icon_confused:

I really hate this split-bench anyway... so if replacement seats are an option, junkyard time is just gonna come sooner. :icon_welder:

why not just extract the bolt? should be pretty easy to do with the seat out.

Well, I attempted to extract it. Started with an E-Z out but to no avail. Tried doublenutting it from underneath the truck to..no avail.
I'm going to grab a stud extractor and try that. And more PB Blaster. If that fails, I'll fire up the torch and say goodbye to my nice clean interior smell.
