Does anyone know where I can find a replacement seatbelt for my 1997 ranger- regular cab. It has the 60/40 split. I need the receiver for the driver side, which also houses the center seat lap belt.
I called a local salvage yard and they have a belt from a 1994 but the truck has buckets and it is only the receiver- would I be able to piggy back the two on top of each other using the single bolt to the floor?

OR- do you know if they sell a kit to fix the receiver I have?

Thanks!

haven't seen any kit for that. long as you're using grade 8 hardware and big backing plates (or the original mounting location and bolt) don't see a problem myself. double check underneath and make sure there is adequate support for 2 belts to anchor there. no rust, big backing area, etc. as it will be handling twice the load in an emergency. if everything is fine there and as long as the original bolt is long enough, should be ok, imho.
good luck!
