seat belts

I'm replacing both of the front seat belts in my '97 and am trying to picture how they interact with the B-pillar. Do I feed the belt and loop through the b pillar before securing it to the side and then the b pillar sits over the part going up to the loop and then bolts down to the floor in front of the b-pillar?
