among other issues for my b3000... when I was taking if for a test drive after changing coolant temp sensor... the seatbelt kept popping out... I plan on hitting junk yard for a replacement but has anyone else here had that issue?
I know it won't pass inspection like this so it has to be replaced... I had to re-buckle it half a dozen times in a 30 minute drive... and no, it's not because I'm fat or anything like that..

I can't speak for that year range. I have had problems with seat belt latch not holding on several vehicles thru the years including our 94 Jeep and one of my BIIs

take it out and clean the mechanism with some kind of cleaner/ solvent... might just be gummed up inside so that it does not latch.

I would still be looking for a replacement tho even if the above does fix it.

so the spring broke on the driver side seat belt latch and it wont stay on... nobody ever rides with me so I'm just going to switch the passenger side over and not worry about the sensor for the seatbelt light...

anyways, I'm trying to loose the nut holding the seatbelt on and it wont budge... I'm not a weak guy and I'm bending the track for the seat... it's like this for both sides... any suggestions? thanks, Johnny

Try some penetrating oil and let it soak for a little while and try again.

My guess is that the bolt was put in with the red loctite. you might be able to heat the bolt up to soften the loctite, but be careful so you don't burn your carpet or upholstery.

I figured out I need to remove the seat and use torx socket... the drivers side came out easy but I can't figure out how to remove the back 2 bolts under the seat... the passenger seat doesn't come up as far as the drivers side... what a stupid design... any suggestions?
