Seat belt doesn't retract worth a damn...

That's not a hijack to me...
Yes, the retractor mechanism with the spool lives beneath that rear quarter trim directly below the slit where the belt goes in. That's the only squeakable thing in the seat belt mechanism There is no way to service it so don't bother pulling the trim (and breaking a bunch of trim retainers) since you'll just end up seeing a box that's all glued together with one clear side just to taunt you.
The eBay seatbelt setup mentioned above is not the same as the OEM setup. But, if he's happy with it it might work out for others.

i just know how some people get with "hijacks" and wanted to prevent any possibility of that lol....

so i'm screwed? does this just mean my stereo needs to be loud all the time? cuz i can't hear it when it's turned up

yeah the seatbelts arent oem but work well..im happy...my old ones were really dirty and didnt retract at all. this was the cheapest alternative...ive had em for about 4 months and work great

Does anyone know if that seat belt warranty thing applies up in Canada?
