I'm pretty sure it's the same as the 2.9 and 2.8. If so I have a spacer that I may be able to get scanned. I'll let you know asaik.

IIRC the bellhousing pattern is the same, the starter location is slightly different for the 4.0 manual. I know I used everything from the original 2.9 (flywheel, block plate, starter, and transmission) when I first did the 4.0 swap. Drove it that way for years.
