im in the middle of removing my front driveshaft on my 84 b2 and cant get it out of the transfer case... I can pull it out enough for like when it flexs so it has play but cant pull it all the way out please help need this done today!!!

It's just a circlip, like a CV shaft would have. Pull harder.

If you searched a little harder, you would have found that the boot is all that is holding it on. Pop the boot off the t-case and the shaft slides out easy.

My one had a clip.

My other one was so rusted in you could pick the case up with the drive shaft.

it was just the boot on mine and thanks to you guys the engine is out now just gotta pull the one out of my expo so I can drop it in the b2
