Is there such a thing, specifically fuel pump relays? I keep getting mine wet and it causes weird ass electrical problems. Not to mention having to replace $16 relays. I have tried sealing them with silicone but somehow the moisture penetrates anyway.

Am I the only one who has this problem?

relays tend to shed water pretty well by themselves. i wonder if your wet wiring is whats burningn them up (overloading?).

i would glop a very healthy amount of vasoline into and onto the relay socket, then the bottom of the relay, then plug the relay in. the bottom of the relay where the pins enter the housing is really the only place water can get in.

I'm not sure if all relays are made like this or not, but the ones I got have "caps" that you can take off with a screwdriver, exposing the insides. Water keeps seeping in through the edges and stays inside, corroding everything and shorting it out. Maybe it's just NAPA brand ones that leak? That is all I have tried so far.

Boats use sealed relays. Expect to pay a little more tho.:)shady

I would not mind paying more for sealed ones at all. I have gone through five of them so far, luckily all under warranty.
