Sounds like you know what you are doing don't forget to keep the MAF clean. The oil for the k and N filter can mess with the MAF

it's funny you say that. i'm a mustang guy and the maf is always in the air intake tube. welll there's nothing throughout the air flow to the motor. i couldn't find the maf. it's an 89 with the 2.3 and i have no idea where it is. didn't look hard, just around the air box and the induction tube to the throttle body. where's that little guy at? i figured it was speed density

I think an 89 might have something called a MAP. I am not sure where it is
