Sea foam helps fuel from breaking down when stored for longer periods of time.

I believe you're thinking about Sta-Bil.

Seafoam does indeed work.

Sea foam is advertised to work as a fuel stabilizer but I have never tried it.

I still don't think it does what people think it will. I believe in good old fashioned repairs instead of miracle cures.
