Scouts Post Up

Congratulations to all of the Eagle Scouts that have posted! There is nothing that you can put on your resume that better demonstrates the ability to set a long range goal and achieve it.

Agree completly, my first job interview went like this, boss "so you are interested in working here huh?" Then looking through her papers, "and I see you are an Eagle Scout?" she then turns to her boss and says "so can I go ahead and push him through?" He says "yea I think that will be alright" an d that was it, not that is was a really big time job but that's all it took.

I can't tell you how much it has helped me in so many different ways. I would place this above any other accomplishment I have completed.

Bumping this back up. I was doing some research for my "Why I want to be an Army Aviator" essay on what the average age was.

If you are an Eagle Scout and haven't posted, please do so.

Made Eagle in 2002 with Troop 904 in the Inland Northwest Council. Eagle project was a bike safety course and rodeo for the kids in the community. Gave a way several hundred helmets. Proud to be an Eagle Scout. My one uncle and my younger brother are both Eagle Scouts also.

Wow - holy old thread Batman. Congrats to you Eagles though. I made it to first class and our troop kind of died. We kept showing up at the school where we met for our weekly meetings and our drunk scoutmaster didn't show. For some strange reason, my parents took a dim view of it and I quit. I was an assistant den leader in the cubbies when my boys were in the scouts.

Past Webelos Leader and Assistant Scoutmaster. Father to three Eagles. All three did Philmont and one did Northern Tier.
