That's alright, it's not everybodys' cup of tea.

What did you guys do for your projects?
Mine was a about a 550' Nature trail around a Historic Site near my home.

Put up a split-rail fence in front of the cemetery at the Church. People would drive back in the cemetery, which butted up against the steel mills slag yard, and tore up the yard and knocked over tombstones and other mischievous activities.

Repainted the inside of a firestation

eagle class of 02
and OA.

And yes I know it is sad but I forgot what troop I got my eagle in. the troop I was in detertated about a month before my project, So I ended up moving to another troop for about a month and a half, just long enough to get my eagle. I would of stayed but really didn't mess well with the new troop and girls and wheels kept getting in the way.

Lincoln Heritage Council
Troop 80
Eagle Scout in '01 at 15, 2 days before my 16th birthday.

My parents told me I wouldn't get my licenses until I got my Eagle Scout.

Cub scouts when I was little.

Did the Law Enforcement Explorer Program through the Boy Scouts from 16-18. I was the Explorer President (Captain). One year we competed in a Law Enforcement Explorer competiton.

I got back in to scouting for a couple years as a Cub Master for Pack 53. Lot's of fun. Done the whole Blue & Gold banquet, Pinewood Derby's (I still have my trophey from 1977), Raingutter Regatta, camped out with my son at Lad-N-Me, and went to all the council meetings once a month.

My son lost interest and I'm not involved in it anymore.

Still got my Cubmaster Scout uniform shirt in the boyscout tan.

Awesome... I never expected this many responses.

my eagle board is next Wednesday

Congrats and good luck.

Just for kicks(from the NESA web site) the first Eagle Scout in American received his Eagle in 1912. His board of review consisted of: Chief Scout Executive James E. West, Chief Scout Ernest Thompson Seton, National Scout Commissioner Daniel Carter Beard (another BSA founder), and Wilbert E. Longfellow of the U.S. Volunteer Life Saving Corps. Mr Longfellow wrote the swimming and lifesaving sections of the handbook. Sometime in 2009, the two-millionth Eagle Scout will be named.

Assistant Scout Master Troop 248 East Texas. Still love scouting.
My son was Order the Arrow, Life Scout working on his Eagle when he was killed accidently.
Kudos to all of you who have learned from scouting.
