My 93 standard model Ranger doesn't have much for options.
Of course, I've gotten spoiled with tilt, cruise, power windows & locks, etc.
So while scouting for a gauge cluster that has the optional factory tach so I can watch my rpms (found one without the auto PRND thing in it) and that has a working temp gauge, I ran across a complete tilt column that my existing key actually fit and works on a 93 in a Pic a Part yard.!
And the wheel has the cruise buttons in it, and the entire complete cruise setup was still in the vehicle. And it's a 93 so everything should fit.
Couldn't believe it when they let me have the whole mess and even helped me pull it for $70!
I've gotta go back next weekend and get the wires out of that mess under the dash that comes from the actuator under the hood and probly goes to a plug on the column that connects with the buttons.
Am going to wait till bike weather (for riding to work) so I can have plenty time to install the column & the cruise setup.
Also took a look at the wiring and switch setup for power windows & locks.
There's one little panel that snaps out of the door panel, and either has the switches or doesn't, like mine. And that yard had several 93's & 94's with the panel, switches, plugs, & power window regulators and door lock solenoids I'd need. But I HATE working inside doors, so will put my other stuff in first next spring then take another look. But would be nice to have!
