Thanks I got the same message twice for two of my wanted ads. I didn't even have a warm fuzzy feeling before I sent the email, but after I got pictures of the wrong parts I knew it was bad.
Didn't post because I was in comm with the mods. Since I'm a new guy here I didn't want to be the one to set off the fire alarm without being 100% sure about the situation.

It seems he was responding and saying that a friend has the parts. Used stock images of the parts and gave an email address of the "friend" for you to respond to.
Strange thing for someone to do in their first 2 days on the site and not posting in any threads, just pm's to people looking for parts.
Probably phishing for email addresses or other info.

Same. He quit responding after about 10 emails. I kept asking for different camera angles of different parts...then he got fed up and stopped responding. Wasn't worth the $110 scam after I wasted his 30 minutes.lol

He responded to me on another forum . looked legit "initially" so I used papal "just in case" . They are now refunding after I reported him as a scammer. As soon as I reported him hes stopped responding to my my emails.
