Don't hate me.

Got a '97 ranger 4.0 5sp 2wd. My dad asked me to post a thread asking some questions regarding this.

The distributor is in the back, not the front. Notching of the firewall is needed?
Steering box issues?
Heater box issues?
What headers will fit?
Transmission, and X-member?
Turbo 350 tailshaft to 8.8 rearend? Suggestions?

Just a few questions guys. If it's a major project, it won't happen. Thanks ahead guys.

too much trouble.....and really it's blasphemy..haha.

BLASPHEMER!!!!

Persecute... KILL the heretic!!!!

Though a SBC isn't the ultimate sacriledge....

that goes to the person (deserving of eternal damnation)
who swapped an Oldsmobile V8 into a Ranger and had to heavily notch both frame rails for exhaust clearance.

It was unsuprising that the truck was "Bent" just behind the engine crossmember.
