Saw a 93 2.3 turbo 5spd Explorer!

While looking for some 93 Ranger parts, happened to spot that in the back corner of the pick a part.

I'll bet that was a neat little package, small cubes with reasonable power.
Several years (couple decades?) ahead of its time.

That awesome. I was considering swapping the 2.3T out of my rusty TurboCoupe into my 92 Explorer Sport but I think I'm just going to put a 302 in there.

Probly better - more torque and at a lower more useable rpm.

And I would suspect that the turbo motor takes 91 octane?

Why would anyone scrap that? What a neat little custom....
