Im thinking of going SAS on my Ranger. I have a 95 with 4 wheel ABS, Is there anyway to put the ABS on a D44 or do I just unplug the sensors ant loop the wires or something?

just loss the abs. abs sucks for off road and i want your lift and radius arms if your selling them

there is more to it than just the module though. It would be an awful lot of f*ckin around to get rid of it entirely.

Ill let you know if I if I decide to go SAS with my truck. I may keep it for a DD and SAS a reg cab short bed.

not really i plan on lossing the rear abs on my truck.

Rear ABS is pretty basic, I took it off my old 94 and it wasnt a big deal it was just the little module on the frame rail. But my 95 is ODB II and the computer is picky about ABS stuff.

yea some one else will chime in i know they will. just curious if you do sas whats the lift going to cost me so i can start saving

Id let the extended arms, tranny crossmember, TTB brackets, and coils go for around 200.

If I get ah hold of some taller coils and a super runner setup for cheap enough Ill stick with the TTB for a while.

alright 200 is def fair man just let me know what your doing i wont have the money for a while

Losing your ABS is not that hard. I'm in the process of SAS front and rear, I have a 96. I had problems with my wheel bearings a while back and it chewed the sensor on one of my front wheels...Since I wanted to get rid of the ABS anyways (kept releasing brakes while offroad), I unplugged both sensors at the frame just in front of the coil buckets, behind the bumper. Except for the ABS light in the dash ( I have since removed the ABS light bulb in the instrument panel), I have no problems driving my truck, even when I pull trailers or in wet conditions...

I know that unpluging the sensors and removing the bulb will "work" but I if I am going to remove the ABS I want it gone all together.

You will need to remove the ABS pump and join the brake lines together, matching front with front, rear with rear, etc. Shouldn't be that hard of a job...
